Kathakali is a dance form in which the dancers adorn elaborate costumes. Through this they express dramatically and portray mythological characters to appease their audiences. Artists from various cultural backgrounds, often go into elaborate costumes to portray characters in the space of performance art. In this COVID world masks have become an every day commodity. But even before this time..  in reality, we all wear costumes to portray characters that society wants to see.. make up clothes.. even personality..? How liberating it would be to take all the masks off?
