Born in a large family in Malaysia, after his father died, he was forced to work. He had a love for the arts, dance and music especially dance. As a teenager he worked in the clubs and sang songs to collect money to learn dance in India.

He then made it to Australia

and was the first Indian Classical dancer in Australia to perform in the Melbourne Arts centre.

He also was a proud homosexual who broke all stero types and embraced his honesty.
